I is for Father Ignatius.  A rather loose connection, brought Father Ignatius to Bawburgh in 1864, when he led a pilgrimage to Saint Walstan's Well from Norwich.  Although his notoriety and controversial ideals did the legend no good, it did in a strange way, heighten the local Saint's image for a short while, but it was not to be until 1912 that major pilgrimages recommenced.  See Saint Walstan's Legend page.
